APRIL 2017 PERFORMANCE DATES

Who: Senior Hip-Hop, Junior Hip-Hop and Jazz Teams!
What: Local Dance Competition
Where: Holy Cross Regional Secondary (16193 88 Ave, Surrey, BC V4N 1G3) Click on address for directions! Students/Parents are responsible for arranging transportation to and from the event.
When: Friday, April 7, 2017 - Show 6PM-930PM. Doors open 5:30PM.
Cost: Tickets at the door and CASH ONLY
Seniors (65+) & Students with VALID GoCard: $5
Adults (19+) : $8
Children (6 & under): Free
To Do: Boomerang at next practice! Be ready! Bring snacks, your costume and your GO CARD/ID! Wear your team gear!

Who: All Curricular Dance Classes - SHS 5.0, Make it Rain, Empire, Summer Time, Fine China & Same Love.
What: A district wide dance showcase featuring performances from Surrey high schools and elementary schools.
Where: Bell Performing Arts Centre (Sullivan School Theatre)
When: Tuesday, April 11, 2017 - Show Runs 11:30AM-1:00PM. An all staff email will be sent to Period 2 teachers - so that student can be dismissed 10-15 minutes early from classes in order to gather their belongings and report to the dance studio right at the beginning of lunch (10:45PM). Students are expected to change into their costumes immediately. We will do a full warm-up run of all dances in the studio before loading the theatre at 11:15AM. Students will stay in the theatre through out the duration of the event and will report back to their Period 4 class immediately after the show.

To Do: Inform your Day 2 Period 2, 3 & 4 Teachers as soon as possible!

What: SSDTA Large Team & Class Dance Competition
Where: Chandos Pattison Auditorium (10238 168 St, Surrey, BC V4N 1Z4) Click on address for directions. Students/Parents are responsible for arranging rides to and from the event.
When: Saturday, April 22, 2017 - Show Runs 12:00PM-4:30PM. Doors Open 11:30AM. Performers Call Time 10:00AM.
Cost: $10 in advanced through Ms. Valencia or $15 at the door (if any). This event typically sells out. To avoid disappointment, purchase your tickets through Ms. Valencia at lunch or after school as soon as possible. Tickets will be sold on a first come first serve basis - no holds.
